Frequently Asked Questions about Our Ice Cream Tubs with Lids
Our ice cream tubs are made from paper and lined with PLA, a renewable and natural raw material that’s completely biodegradable and compostable. The spoons in our offering are made from Ingeo™ bioplastic PLA, which boasts similar attributes to plastic but is plant-based with a 75% lower carbon footprint. We do have some plastic in our range, as our lids are made from PET, but this is fully recyclable.
Yes! PLA is a fantastic alternative to plastic as it can withstand both hot and cold temperatures. It’s also an incredibly strong material and highly durable, so you won’t have to worry about your spoon snapping while you’re trying to enjoy your dessert. Not to mention, the carbon footprint of PLA is up to 75% lower than standard packaging materials like plastic.
Our ice cream lids are available to purchase separately. This makes our pots more versatile as they can be used for many different dessert types. Additionally, it helps to prevent potential plastic waste in the event that lids are not required.
Yes, our ice cream pots are coated with moisture-resistant plant-based barriers, which makes them leak-free, preventing the sticky mess that comes with other materials. We also stock lids for all of our ice cream tubs, which can help to prevent further spills.
Absolutely! Our ice cream packaging can be custom-printed on minimum order values of 50 thousand. Get creative with your designs and stand out from the competition with a personalised look. You can add your brand colours, logo or even a catchy slogan to your ice cream tubs to elevate your customers’ dessert. We can also supply custom-printed stickers for the matching lids on orders over 100.
All of our ice cream packaging is recyclable or compostable and biodegradable. We’ve made it easier than ever for your customers to throw away their waste responsibly, giving you peace of mind, whilst also lowering your business’s carbon footprint.
