Corrugated fish & chip boxes/pizza-style boxes have become a staple product with takeaway or packaging companies, with the first patent being applied for in 1963.
Additional Features for our fish and chip boxes
Food Grade
Most fish and chip takeaway boxes use virgin Kraft paper on the outside and Test paper (recycled paper) on the inside. This old style of a pizza box will need an additional lining, such as greaseproof paper, between the food and the box, but we have made our burger and pizza boxes differently – ensuring you get a food-grade product!
So how do we make our fish & chip boxes food grade?
We simply flipped around the Kraft and Test paper, putting the virgin Kraft paper on the inside of the box. This not only makes it viable to come into direct contact with food, but it also provides a higher grease resistance.
Improving grease resistance
The virgin Kraft paper we use on the inside of the boxes has a smoother surface than test-lined boxes. The fibres are tightly packed making it a lot harder for the grease to penetrate.
Recycled & Recyclable
Not only are these fish and chip boxes made with 73% recycled paper, they can also be recycled, thanks to the use of grease-resistant paper on the inside.

All the paper used in these products is from FSC sources.
BRC Accreditation
We have a AA standard BRC accreditation, meaning both the manufacturing and storage facility are BRC certified.
