Our Sustainable Packaging Vision

Did you know that in the UK, the vast majority of municipal waste received at landfill sites is categorised as “mixed waste”? The government classifies this as waste where “it is not possible to identify individual material streams, e.g. food waste.”
We will combat this by creating eco packaging with great designs — just because you’re committed to being sustainable doesn’t mean you have to compromise on style. Our bespoke design service has been used by some of the biggest names in the casual dining sector (ever heard of Nandos?) for a seamless, customisable application. Of course, you can also buy our products as standard, plain packaging if necessary but it’s nice to have the option.

Developing Smart and Sustainable Packaging

We have developed a range of products made entirely from sustainable resources to combat the UK’s plastic waste issue. These eco-friendly packaging products have a lower carbon footprint than standard oil-based packaging, but they retain the same benefits of traditional food packaging.

To produce the best branded containers, we use quality materials, including virgin Kraft board, for products that are suitable for housing both hot and cold foods. We aim to make food packaging that matches mainstream manufacturers’ level of quality, with the environmentally conscious component as an added bonus.

Fed up of having to read the small print for recycling? So are we.

We use Ingeo™ PLA Bioplastic sourced from plants to create products that are fully biodegradable and compostable, allowing the overwhelming majority of people who don’t recycle because they are unsure of an item’s suitability to switch up their psychology on sustainability

Our Packaging Rules

Our aim is to move 100% of our customer base to fully biodegradable, compostable and oil free takeaway packaging by 2021.

Daring Design for the Conscious Consumer

There’s a misguided perception that sustainable design is boring and results in, at best, bare, brandless packaging where creativity is an afterthought. It’s like saying that conscious consumption can literally be labelled and put in a box — well, maybe with our takeaway boxes, it can — but seriously, we are here to say that sustainable design can be whatever you want it to be.

Sustainable design is not black and white. In fact, it’s not all beige and green either (even though our friends from Cobbs farm did rock this look — and if you enjoy this type of thing, you should definitely check out our eco bowls).

You don’t have to be boring and bland, or anything except yourself, in order to care about the planet. Our team of designers can create food packaging that
represents you by putting our branding expertise to good use in our state-of-the-art studio.

You can have a design consultation with us for free — together we’ll discuss your unique concept to develop a creative brief that is both conscious and cutting edge. Whether you are looking for an understated vibe or want to stand out from the crowd, we’ve got you covered.

We can even celebrate special events — 70th birthday parties, anyone? — for those who want to look sleek, sexy and exclusive… Seriously, we did Ferrari’s. And if it’s good enough for one of the greatest luxury car brands in the world, then what have you got to lose?
