Madhur Jaffrey CBE
Madhur Jaffrey is an Indian-born actress, food and travel writer, and television personality. On the 11th of October 2004, she was awarded an Honorary CBE in recognition of her services to cultural relations between India, the U.K, and the US, through her achievements in film, television and cookery.
Nigella Lawson
Nigella Lawson is a well-known Journalist, food writer and TV chef. Her Mother Vanessa passed on her skills, she was a keen cook whose family owned J.Lyons and Co, a food and catering business. Nigella’s first cook book ‘How to Eat’ sold 300,000 copies in the UK alone this lead to her first TV series Nigella Bites and has been on TV ever since.
Monica Galetti
Monica Galetti is a Samoan-born New Zealand chef who is based in London. In 1999 Monica was offered a position by Michel Roux Jr, although this was below the level she was currently working. She rapidly worked her way through the various sections to eventually become Senior Sous-chef, making her the first woman to hold such a senior position at the restaurant. Whilst working for Michel she launched and was head chef at Le Gavroche des Tropiques and in 2017 opened a new restaurant ‘Mere’.

Delia Smith CH CBE
At 21 Delia began working in a small restaurant in Paddington washing dishes before moving on to waitressing before finally being allowed to help with the cooking. In 1969 she was taken on by the Daily Mirror’s newly launched magazine as their cookery writer moving on to having a column n the Evening Standard in 1972. Delia’s first television appearance came in the early seventies and she has been a regular on our screens ever since. She is also a joint majority shareholder at Norwich FC.

Mary Berry CBE
Mary Rosa Alleyne Hunnings, known professionally as Mary Berry is a British food writer and television presenter. Most famous for her cakes and baking, she hates a soggy bottom!

Prue Leith CBE
Prudence Margaret, is a restaurateur, caterer, television presenter/broadcaster, businesswoman, journalist, cookery writer and novelist! She was born in South Africa and has worked in London for most of her life. She is now the new judge of TV’s bake off.

Fanny Cradock
Fanny Cradock was an English restaurant critic, television chef and writer, frequently appearing on television and at cookery demonstrations. Probably best remembered for her acidic tongue, mainly aimed at her longsuffering husband Johnny.
Rosemary Shrager
Rosemary is a British chef, who first hit our screens Ladette to Lady, going on to host her own cookery series ‘Rosemary Shrager’s School for Cooks, where contestants competed for the opportunity to work in a Michelin star restaurant. She has since appeared on many TV programmes from I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here to most recently The Big Family Cooking Showdown.

Nancy Lam is a celebrity chef famous for her laugh, quirky personality and most importantly, her Oriental food and television appearances. Another chef who is supported by her husband in the kitchen.

Angela Hartnett MBE
Angela Hartnett is an English chef. She is a protégé of Gordon Ramsay and gained fame from her appearances on television, including Hell’s Kitchen. Angela also took part in the final episode and oversaw the final task for MasterChef UK. She has won many awards, including Best Newcomer and BMW Best New Restaurant. She earned her first Michelin Star in 2004.
