Description
RPET Clear Lids
Clear lids are a great option when you’re looking to display the food before purchase. These lids have a temperature range of -40°C to +54°C, making them fridge and freezer safe and although they should be removed before reheating food in the microwave or oven, they can withstand hot food.
Our clear lids are made from recycled Polyethene Terephalate (rPET), which is the most common plastic that is being recycled back into primary applications. The lids can be popped into any recycling bin after use, so it’s super easy for the end user to dispose of in the right way.
Made from between 20-100% recycled plastic, our lids leave a lower carbon footprint than virgin plastics and reduce the need to use fossil fuel resources.

More about Sugarcane Bagasse
All our bagasse Be Pulp range are home compostable – in just 120 days up to 90% of the product can disintegrate at a temperature of around 25°C.
Bagasse is a by-product from the sugarcane industry and is the fibres that remain after the sugarcane stalks have been crushed to extract their juice. The bagasse pulp is a highly sustainable choice of packaging material due to a renewable growth of between 2 to 3 times a year.
